Description

In the heart of the Netherlands (Utrecht), where the A12 and the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal intersect, Rijkswaterstaat last week opened the doors of the Future Centre LEF, the most advanced future centre in the world. With this centre, RWS underlines the changes it is going through as a developer and manager of the Netherlands' infrastructure. From coming up with its own technically best solution to harnessing the creativity of the market.

With due pride, we warmly invite you to our annual Event at this top location of RWS. in the afternoon there will be a special programme for study associations and members of Young KIVI NIVIA Students, and in the evening members of KIVI NIRIA will join us.

in the afternoon, after the reception, we will work on the theme 'The work at Rijkswaterstaat'. There are three workshops, giving you a unique opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at Rijkswaterstaat. Some workshops are on location, others in the Rijkswaterstaat building. The afternoon programme will end with a joint exchange of experiences and evaluation. Afterwards, you can attend the evening programme.

A walk-in buffet forms the prelude to the evening programme. A short General Assembly of the professional department will take place where, if you are a member of the department, you can learn about Business Administration's plans for the coming year. The main focus, however, will be on the theme 'The changing role of organisations in public-private partnerships'. For this, we have invited H. Witteveen, director of BAM PPP, and S. Poel, director of Rijkswaterstaat Projects. The evening is an excellent networking opportunity.
