Description

The economic downturn tapped into creativity in many organisations. Indeed, projects were also put under the microscope. Were we able to make managing projects more efficient, better, cheaper? And do we like it so much that we continue with it? Or did we stick to measures that are only temporary, and conclude that we'd better carry on as before?

Opening & Parallel Sessions John Hermarij opens the 2011 Parade. His
thesis: Much more with much less.
Hermarij believes it is possible to get more project with less management.
What the price of that is and what direction it should take...... ?/! He will give you food for thought in a stimulating and entertaining lecture. You can then choose from several parallel sessions offered in three rounds spread over the day.
Companies and institutions from banking &
insurance (o.a Nationale Nederlanden),construction & infrastructure (BAM Civiel, Heijmans, ProRail), industry (Dockwise,
Heineken), (semi) government (Rijkswaterstaat, Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek), hi-tech (ASML, NXP, Océ Technologies) will show how they manage their projects, which issues they encounter in relation to the theme.
IPMANL's Critical Chain,
Portfolio- & Risk Management interest groups
will give their views on the theme. Some
main, annual and Parades sponsors will highlight the theme from their experience with one or more sectors.
In addition, there will be sessions on certifying the individual project manager (IPMA-NL and Cito) and certifying organisations (Delta)
