An intensive training course to strengthen your own profiling and proposition.
For self-employed people, SME entrepreneurs and engineers with ambition.
You are a kei in your profession, an excellent engineer, but does anyone else know that? You are convinced of your own abilities, but are rarely asked for anything. You are better than your colleagues, but they get the challenging projects. Being good alone is not enough to make an impact; to be the choice of others.
'Let yourself be experienced' is the credo in today's experience economy. It is the experience - the emotion - that matters most of the time and less the product itself. This also applies to people; engineers, professionals, leaders, managers, freelancers, specialists, etc.
Your aesthetic value - 'look and feel' - is important. How you live in the minds and hearts of others largely determines your success and growth. Realise that much in your life depends directly on the choices of others. An assignment, new challenging project, promotion, appreciation, etc. If you want to let others know how good you are and what you can do for them, you have to be visible; have a presence.
Your Personal Brand is the result of the stories people hear about you, as well as the direct and indirect experiences they have had with you.
Personal Branding is about influencing others' choices and creating desired outcomes. You do this by consistently and consistently displaying your Personal Brand to others in an authentic way. It is a framework for building better relationships with those around you. From relationships come experiences and trust. From trust, choices are made. A Personal Brand is not an option. Everyone has one. Whether your Personal Brand works positively, neutrally or negatively for you is your own choice. A positive Personal Brand shows your unique value to a relevant other.
As early as the 19th century, Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote; "Insist on yourself, never imitate ...... every great man is unique."
Personal Branding is all about your Identity, Image and Impact.
Participants are first introduced to the four elements of Personal Branding. Understanding those elements releases the awareness that you yourself can influence your success by starting to see yourself as a brand.
Next, participants get to work on their own Personal Brand.
What does my Personal Brand look like now; is it working positively, neutrally or negatively for me?
What is my desired, but authentic, Personal Brand, so that it works positively for me within a relevant target group?
How do I show myself and allow myself to be experienced; what feedback do I receive from those around me?
How do I follow the developments around me and innovate myself?
Participants become aware of the impact they are making now and start defining their own Personal Brand.
The training is interrupted by coffee/tea breaks and lunch. After the training, there will be an opportunity to chat during the drinks afterwards (until 17:00).
