Board vacancies

We are looking for continuity!

Active members are the cork on which the department floats. Unfortunately, many a department suffers from a shortage of active members. Perhaps this is because it is voluntary work and everyone feels they already have enough to do. That seems true, but you could be mistaken. Especially in the Commercial Engineering department! It is precisely experience in administrative affairs and activity committees that provides added value that will pay off precisely in a CI's working environment. Therefore, seize your opportunity.

Strengthening the board...

The board of the Department of Commercial Engineering determines the strategy for the coming years and implements this strategy by organising activities and representation of the department within KIVI. The board consists of an executive committee (chairman, secretary and treasurer) and board members. The board meets every six weeks, in between which each board member is expected to carry out tasks. From KIVI there is a desire to renew the board every six years, so we need to ensure new recruits! Only we need volunteers for this!

...or help with activities?

The Commercial Engineering department regularly organises activities in The Hague and Eindhoven. The subjects of these activities are diverse but mostly relate to the development of so-called soft-skills. Activities are devised and recorded by the national board of the department. For the actual implementation of these activities, we are looking for people who want to supervise the activities from the moment they are planned. This includes, besides being present at the activities, fixing the accommodation and catering, taking care of the convocation, etc.

Naturally, the division of tasks can be discussed and you will be inducted by one of the board members. It is also possible that, if you have the ambition to become a board member, you can join the national board of the CI department.
