What is LinkedIn?
LinkedIn is a professional network that uses the internet. No hassle with business cards, just create your own profile and then add people you know (professionally): clients, (ex-)colleagues, partners, etc..
What is the point of this?
As a commercial engineer, you cannot do without your own 'network'. In this respect, LinkedIn seems to be a handy tool to maintain your contacts. Besides your immediate circle, you also have access to your own contacts AND their contacts. So you quickly reach thousands of people. If you change jobs, everyone knows immediately. If you are looking for certain information, just ask your network.
How can I register?
Did you know that KIVI has its own group within LinkedIn? So if you are a member of KIVI, you can easily join via this link. KIVI CI and NVSM join forces
Service and Commercial, are closely linked in daily practice. After all, aftersales is presales. Reason for the Commercial Engineering department of KIVI and the NVSM to start working together. With the aim of enabling members to share each other's activities and experiences.
The cooperation between NVSM and KIVI CI will mainly focus on:
- Organising joint activities.
- Announcing and visiting each other's activities.
- Publication of reports of each other's activities.
- The Dutch Association for Service Management (NVSM) (250 members) is the association of companies and organisations with a mobile field service organisation for technical service and maintenance.
