'Apps' have been in the spotlight ever since Apple successfully introduced an 'App store' for the iPhone and iPad.
But what exactly is an App, and what do you need to consider if you are going to make one yourself? The speaker ing. F. Zuijdendorp discusses this in detail during this evening lecture. Topics covered include the development tools, specific functions such as GPS, motion sensors as well as the user interface. The differences with 'regular' desktop and web applications will also be discussed.
The session will end with a demonstration
