How do you combine Enterprise Engineering methods effectively in complex organisations? And how do you ensure that these models are understandable and usable not only for experts, but also for other stakeholders?

During this community session, on the basis of three concrete practical cases, we will discuss the added value of DEMO in combination with other methods, such as ArchiMate, OntoUML and NL-SBB, for organisational design and change.

Speakers

Gerke Geurts, Enterprise Architect R&D at BASF, shows how DEMO and Archimate have been applied in redesigning IT portfolio management with a focus on the connection between the organisation and IT.

Olaf Kruidhof, Enterprise Architect at Europol, and Rik van der Schalie, independent Enterprise Architect, show how DEMO and Archimate have been applied in an international context, with a focus on readability of models for various stakeholders.

Holke Visser, independent data architect, and Bas van der Raadt, Enterprise ontologist and founder of hapsah.org, show how DEMO has been applied i.c.w. OntoUML, MIM, NL-SBB and BPMN at an organisation in the healthcare sector, among others.
