ICT plays a crucial role in our knowledge society. Developments and innovations in all sectors of education, organisations, companies and government are happening at lightning speed and are strongly stimulated by ICT. If the Netherlands wants to be among the top ICT countries in the world, quality ICT education at all levels is key. The possibilities of ICT applications are constantly increasing. NIOC is the platform to present, share and exchange recent developments. NIOC: the biennial National Informatics Education Congress will take place in Arnhem in 2013 on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 April and is organised by the University of Arnhem and Nijmegen and Radboud University.
