Description

Service Manager Day 2015, on Thursday 23 April, will be a content spectacle. Never before have we had such a line-up of top international speakers, and with such relevant themes.

Take Mark Burgess, the first keynote. He calls himself Information Physicist and Computer Scientist, is founder of CF Engine (configuration management tool) and is Emeritus Professor at the University of Oslo. Mark has made his mark both scientifically and practically. He is founder of several pioneering theories such as Operator Convergence and Promise Theory and has numerous books and awards behind his name. His keynote will focus on Promise Theory, in which he outlines the changing ways in which people and machines interact with each other and how this can be translated to the day-to-day practice of the Service Manager.

Similarly, we have Marco Gianotten, CEO of Giarte, with a blazing speech on the eXperience Level Agreement, where User/Customer Experience and Service Levels come together, driven from the right part of the Service Manager's brain. And how about Anton Rutten, CIO of Rabobank International, who comes to inspire us about how chain collaboration works in practice in a cooperative and global structure like Rabobank's, and how IT supports this.

Not to mention the all-English stream we have this year, with even more top international speakers. Stuart Rance, a true ITSM giant, shares his experiences on Continual Service Improvement (CSI), also in relation to Agile working. Or how about David Poblador, who comes to explain how at Spotify he linked their globally renowned Agile culture to end-to-end service accountability. Also coming along is Kevin Holland, one of the founders of SIAM (Service Integration And Management), how this new framework for service integration was introduced at the UK health service. And how about Tobias Nyberg, who tells a lively practical story from his experience at Handelsbanken (Sweden) about how problem management should really be set up.

Apart from all the other top stories we have been able to include (on behaviour, chain collaboration, digital transformation and service design, among others), we thus have a programme of an unprecedented level of quality. You don't want to miss this. You really don't.
