Description

The Internet of Things (IoT) has been on the rise for some time. What is it? Where does it come from? Where is it going? How is it related to the future Internet? The concepts and terms have been used in the EU context for some time, especially in various research programmes. What does all this mean for us now? Have you ever thought about how IT affects your living environment? These are all questions that will be reviewed during a meeting on 5 June at Centric in Gouda. Ben van Lier, Internet of Things expert within Centric, will provide the introduction. Ben frequently speaks on this topic on various occasions and has several publications on IoT behind his name. His latest blogs can be found here. From his current role, Ben is also closely involved in the creation of innovative solutions that Centric develops for various sectors. On 5 June, he will explain some of these. To get a bit of an idea about IoT, here is a short video!
