Trends in Information Management
Description
One of the topics that triggers all computer scientists and information specialists and that continuously provokes discussions is the 9-square model and its use or misuse, whether justified or not.
More and more attention is being paid to the issue of how to organise the provision of information in such a way as to respond optimally to dynamic social and organisational developments. Under the influence of these dynamics, information management and its organisation will be in constant flux. Striving for a static alignment between business and ICT is therefore neither possible nor desirable. The 9-square model can play an important role in understanding the desired dynamic interaction between business and IT.
Toon Abcouwer will give a fascinating presentation on these dynamics, their effects and the role of the 9-square model.
He will discuss trends and developments and their consequences for IT professionals/information specialists and business analysts
