Description
Boston & Seattle consists of two residential towers with a total height of 23 floors. The towers will be built on the south side of Wilhelmina Pier between the Luxor Theatre and residential tower New Orleans. The building is located on the Rijnhaven, parallel between Antoine Platekade and Otto Reuchlinweg and between Van der Hoevenplein and De Monchyplein.
The project comprises 220 flats divided into 62 owner-occupied and 158 rental flats. And has been designed by Frits van Dongen and Patrick Koschuch - Van Dongen-Koschuch Architects and Planners.
The above-ground parking garage will feature a work of art, consisting of bronze-coloured slatted windows with images referring to the past; the departure of compatriots to overseas continents. Downright impressive are the windows. Because they almost fill the façade and provide beautiful light, but mainly because of the view. From an almost serene setting, residents have beautiful views of the lively port area and the city. Even when the resident is sitting on the sofa.
