Excursion to Antwerp
Description
The Board of KIVI NIRIA Bouw plans to organise a short excursion abroad to Antwerp from 8 to 11 May 2008.
The preliminary programme includes a visit to the construction site of the Museum aan de Stroom (design Neutelings Rietdijk Architects), the New Courthouse, the rebuilt Singel, including a visit to Petra Blaisse's exhibition, the North-South Connection Antwerp Central, the Diamond Museum and a guided city walk. A visit to the KVIV is also planned
Thursday 8 May 2008:
Departure: by bus from Motel Vught near Den Bosch.
Morning: arrival by bus in Antwerp.
Lunch: Dockx Café.
Afternoon: Visit construction site Museum aan de Stroom (MAS), followed by walk on the Eilandje.
Dinner: Pomphuis
Evening: free to spend
Friday 9 May 2008:
Morning: Visit new Courthouse and visit Kviv.
Lunch: Dikke Mee
Afternoon: Guided tour de Singel and visit Petra Blaisse exhibition.
Dinner: Pakhuis
Evening: free to spend
Saturday 10 May 2008:
Noon: shopping (free to spend)
Lunch: on your own
Afternoon: Visit Central Station, Diamond Museum and possibly Zoo
Dinner: Astrid Hotel
Evening: Performance in Queen Elisabeth Hall
Sunday 11 May 2008:
Noon: City walk o.l.v. guide
Lunch: n.t.b.
Afternoon: by bus back to Motel Vught.
