Description

The, until recently, always so traditional world of construction is currently changing rapidly. After years of selecting mainly on price, it has been realised that other selection criteria are also very important, perhaps even more so. New tendering forms have been devised to be more economical and efficient, but also to improve the quality of construction. Some will immediately praise EMVI, others will revile it, total engineering is already passé and NEC 3 has so far only been used in the construction of the International Criminal Court in the Netherlands. All these methods will be discussed at this meeting.

This meeting is intended in particular for professionals in the field who work with these or other tendering forms, want to exchange knowledge and experience and want to enter into discussion with each other. What are these developments and what do they mean for the contractor, architect, client, consulting engineer, structural engineer?
