TU/e Campus of the Future
Description
Under the name Campus 2020, the building complex of the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is being radically modernised. For the TU/e, the campus of the future is a compact campus. Therefore, all faculties will be housed around a green, car-free area. In the middle of the faculty buildings, a new building for all study facilities will be built.
Meanwhile, an existing building has been renovated, partially remediated and is currently being topped off with an entirely new faculty building with a floor area of approximately 16,000 m². The building will be delivered in July 2012
16.00 - Presentations by Dienst Huisvesting TU/e, Ector Hoogstad Architecten and Nelissen Installatietechniek and bouwfysica.
17.00 - Guided tour of construction site by Dienst Huisvesting / Hurks Bouw
18.00 - Closing drinks by CHEOPS, TU/e's student association for architecture.
