European integration is progressing slowly but surely. In the Defence sector too, integration is inevitable. Or is - from a different perspective - finally in sight. In the Defence Vision 2035, the Minister of Defence promotes task specialisation outright, whereas just a few years ago this was considered unacceptable.

What aspects are at stake in community cooperation and where is intergovernmental cooperation better. What is important for defence equipment in terms of development, production and use. What interests do national and European industries have and why.

The workshop begrint with three short introductions followed by discussion. The outcome will provide direction for advice from the KIVI working group to the House of Representatives and for the mandate of Eurodefense working group 27-C on Community Defence Equipment.
