Crisis management with net-centric working and LCMS
Crisis management....during a crisis it's always chaos, isn't it? The right person from organisation X just cannot get hold of person Y, the fire brigade does this and the police do that.......
This is precisely what the security regions started thinking about 20 years ago, using methods and technology to reduce this problem. With the net-centric working method and LCMS, the security regions have given this hands and feet. Net-centric working is a method of exchanging information within a network of those involved. All 25 security regions, the National Crisis Centre (NCC), the National Operational Coordination Centre (LOCC) and a diverse group of crisis partners apply net-centric working within their organisations. Meanwhile, other crisis partners are joining in, Water Boards, GHOR, RWS and the KMAR.
In half an hour, Wouter Mesie, Senior Functional Administrator IFV Information Services, will take participants through the world of crisis management with netcentric working and LCMS.
