FOXTROT theme meeting

On Wednesday 29 May next, from 18:00 - 21:00, the second FOXTROT theme meeting will take place at the Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI). The meeting is a follow-up to the theme meeting on 11 January last. The evening will be devoted to a brief update on developments in the programme: what has happened since January, what is the state of play now and what does the coming period look like? In addition, participants will engage with each other and members of the FOXTROT programme via some questions in breakout sessions. After this, the meeting will close in plenary session.

Background FOXTROT

FOXTROT initiates and coordinates, together with the armed forces units, all activities required for the necessary modernisation and continuity in the land-based tactical mobile domain. User-centred, the programme considers the effects of this transition for the military in that domain. In addition, together with the armed forces units, it lays down the preconditions for equipment logistics, management, education & training, etc. The delivery of all this is aligned with the units' readiness and deployment programmes and industry's production capabilities.

From this cooperation, the programme creates the further basis for information-driven action and ensures that, in their important and dangerous work, units have access to platforms that are always securely connected and interoperable with (inter)national partners.

Hope to see you on 29 May next.
