
Military robotics and DIG
Description
On Tuesday 26 June next, AFCEA The Hague Chapter, in collaboration with NIDV/C2TP and with the support of KIVI Department of Defence and Security, is organising a seminar focusing on several new initiatives.
- Robotics and automated systems
As indicated in the Defence Paper, the Dutch Armed Forces will start experimenting with robotics for military operational action. Project leader - Maj. Martijn Hädicke - will explain the background, the purpose of this initiative and the steps envisaged. Among other things, he will discuss the innovative and practical approach, which will also include cooperation with industry and knowledge institutes.
- Defence Innovation Greenhouse (DIG)
On 29 May this year, DIG signed its first contract with DMO. Owner of DIG - James White - talks about the new cooperation concept, which is mainly focused on urgent, multinational IT projects. He also includes in his story the role that industry and universities play in this.
- Industry Initiative for Agile Acquisition (I2A2)
