On 15, 16 and 17 March, the SSA 2011 will take place - the leading Safety & Security trade fair in the Netherlands. An ideal place for a complete overview of the latest products, services, total solutions and the latest developments in the field of safety and security.

Wednesday afternoon, 16 March, will be dedicated to responding efficiently to incidents. Two seminars will focus on working in reporting and control rooms (to be followed consecutively or separately by you).
Command and Control: indispensable for your risk management and business continuity!
Command & Control systems assist operators in handling incidents and crises by providing situational awareness and assisting with planning and resource allocation. Here, predefined incident handling scripts are an important starting point. Public safety control rooms have been applying this concept for years for efficient handling of (daily and large-scale) incidents.
If you want to know how this concept can also be meaningfully applied in HSE and Security & Safety control rooms of industrial companies and critical infrastructure, then this seminar is a must.
Turnkey approach to monitoring and control room design and set-up
Setting up monitoring and control rooms is more than putting up a table, a chair and some monitors. In order for your operators to function effectively, the layout and atmosphere of the room are of the utmost importance.
What is involved in setting up an incident and control room? How do I approach a furnishing project?
During this workshop, the "Technology User Needs Assessment" methodology (TUNASS) and several references are used to present the total professional project approach and design methodology of control rooms.
This workshop will be given by two highly reputable companies, each of which has won its spurs in the design of monitoring and control rooms. Brand Control Rooms designs and realises complete interiors for professional alarm and control rooms for companies such as Shell, BP and KPN. Fysergo specialises in translating organisational, user and functional requirements into an ergonomic design.
