Want to work on super advanced technology?
At Defence, a knowledge institute or in industry as a civil engineer, reservist or military?
Our Defence and Security Department helps its members find the right job in the sector.
The defence sector in the Netherlands works with the most advanced technology and is growing at lightning speed. The ministry's budget has doubled in the last 3 years and is growing much further in the coming years. The same applies exactly to the knowledge institutes and companies.
A lot of extra staff is therefore needed. Many of them are WO or HBO educated engineers. There is work for every technical engineering background: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, civil engineering, aerospace, shipbuilding, automotive, ICT, etc., etc., etc.
You can work as a researcher, teacher, project leader, production or maintenance manager, but also on policy, market research, purchasing, planning and much more.
However, finding a suitable position is often difficult. Applying for a great job description that seems to suit you often leads to disappointment. You get rejected or the complex world behind it is different after all than you can read in two paragraphs.
The board of KIVI Defence and Security has a large network throughout the sector and can help you find the right place. We read your CV, have a conversation about your wishes and ideas and can recommend you to a fellow engineer at a company, one of the knowledge institutes or Defence itself. as a civilian, but if you want to become a reservist or professional soldier, we will also help you.
This coaching is free of charge and only for KIVI members.
To get started, send your CV with contact details to dv@kivi.nl. Upon receipt, one of our board members will contact you.
Naturally, your application for coaching and the information you provide will be treated in the strictest confidence and will not leave the board of our KIVI department without consultation.
Our colleagues also do this in other sectors. You can find more information about KIVI coaching via this link.
