The European Commission is looking for defence technology experts to assess project proposals for the upcoming major defence research programme due to start soon. This so-called (European Defence Industrial Development Programme (IDIDP) has a total budget of €500 million.

An expert's work is mainly carried out from home or from the office. Sometimes on-site meetings are necessary. Usually in Brussels. Experts receive reasonable to good payment from the European Commission.

So far, not enough experts have applied for the IDIDP. Therefore, the European Commission is looking for more candidates.

The application process is not straightforward and must be fully completed before you can be selected.

When applying, you can indicate your expertise. Having an engineering background and experience in defence technology quickly qualifies you.
