Invitation HSD Café: AI applications for Peace, Security and Law - (17 February 2022)

Security, Peace and Law, areas that unfortunately cannot be taken for granted. Threats are growing and both our physical and digital security are under pressure
. Artificial Intelligence is playing an increasing role in protecting against these threats and ensuring justice. AI applications are increasingly being used to support security professionals and decision-makers, but at the same time this deployment comes with risks. What framework conditions are involved and how do we achieve an effective, safe and people-centred approach to these applications? The Security, Peace and Justice (VVR) working group of the Dutch AI Coalition is jointly working on these issues and wrote a paper on this playing field.
