Jan Wind 'Member of Merit' of the Defence and Security Section of KIVI
After a successful Kooy Symposium on 12 April in Stroe,one of the most active members of our Defence and Security Section and our own chairman - Jan Wind - was asked on stage. Here, Chairman of the Kooy Symposium Committee Ulrich Berrevoets announced that Jan had been appointed 'Member of Merit' of our department by the KIVI Main Board on the recommendation of the DV Board.
Ulrich listed his impressive record of service which includes the 'Politics & Engineering' working group, the Kooy Symposium and the 'Defence for Engineers' course. He also quoted from the text of the appointment: 'Jan, with his never-ending commitment and patience, his positive attitude, his successful initiatives, his critical attitude where necessary and especially his many years of service, is an example for many.'
