The finishing line is in sight, the five finalists of the VIC 2016 have been announced. These are the companies with the five best ideas in the field of intelligent data visualisation: Dimensional Insight Netherlands B.V, OpenRemote , Senseguide, P2P Communication B.V, We Boost B.V.
What is the competition about?
The VIC is a nationwide competition aimed at finding new solutions to security issues. The Ministry of Security and Justice, Ministry of Defence, the police and the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee challenge SMEs and startups to submit innovative ideas, this year in the field of intelligent data visualisation.
From visualising real-time incidents and operational capability faster to better protecting children.
Whether it's protecting children effectively by learning from big data, visualising available border control capacity at Schiphol Airport, or visualising real-time incidents and operational capacity faster. Innovative ideas for these kinds of issues is what this competition is all about. The winner will receive EUR 200,000 to develop his proposal together with the government.
