Energy transition is an important part of climate policy. It involves replacing fossil fuels with sustainable alternatives on a large scale. But it is about more than reducing greenhouse gases; energy carriers and the raw materials for the (chemical) industry can also be a lot more sustainable. This therefore requires a multidisciplinary approach. Thaddeus Anim-Somuah will discuss what role chemistry can play here during C2W live.

During the C2W live webinars, an expert will update you in half an hour on the state of the art in his or her field. Afterwards, there will be a Q&A with questions from the audience. Sign up now!

Anim-Somuah will address at least the following three questions:

  1. Why is chemistry so important for the energy transition?
  2. What chemical challenges do transition developments bring?
  3. What does chemistry need for a successful transition?

Participate actively via Zoom: after the webinar, participants can ask questions to Thaddeus Anim-Somuah (full=full). Via Zoom, you will automatically receive a participation link and a reminder. A livestream of the webinar will also appear on this page, from around 15:50, however, asking questions is not possible here.

Please note: registration via Zoom is only possible for members of KIVI NPT and KNCV. Not yet a member of KIVI? Then click here for more information.

If you are not a member of KIVI-NPT or KNCV, you can only watch the livestream via this page. You need to be registered as a visitor on this website to do so, but fortunately that is easily done via this link. Don't forget to register!
