Chemtura makes agro-chemicals, including products for crop protection, among other things. In order to feed the growing world population, more and more food will have to be obtained from a smaller area in the future. Besides fertilisers, crop protection products are indispensable in this respect.
Chemtura considers Corporate Social Responsibility of paramount importance. That is why Chemtura uses Process Intensification, among other things: an innovative way to produce more sustainably, because optimum use is made of raw materials and energy.
