Drying and separation
Description
The theme of the symposium is 'Drying and Separation'. The idea behind the joint meeting is that process optimisation often becomes even more interesting at the interface of drying and separation. In dairy, for example, concentration via reverse osmosis and film evaporation is often done first, followed by drying. Also discussed are facilitated separation techniques for dryers, such as sorption separation. Finally, GMF Gouda, manufacturer of drum dryers, will give a tour of its facilities.
