It gives us great pleasure to invite you to attend the new, already 11th edition of the European Symposium on Electrochemical Engineering. This time it is being organised in Prague, Czech Republic, a city where the Nobel Prize winner for electrochemistry, Yaroslav Heyrovsky, was born and worked for most of his life. This makes Prague an inspiring venue for electrochemists. Although both the Symposium and the venue build on a long tradition, they offer a forum for new ideas and developments. And that is one of the chief targets of this event.
