The automation and engineering work area of NPT aims to bring process technologists together with automation specialists and process engineers. The work area therefore actively seeks cooperation with trade or branch organisations of both automation specialists and process engineers.

Ede is the European headquarters for the assembly of Coriolis flow sensors, magnetic meters, vortex meters and density sensors. The flow laboratory is visited annually by customers from across Europe to learn about capabilities of the available facilities, including an advanced calibration stand. In addition, Emerson in Ede has excellent training facilities with complete installations on which production processes can be simulated. During the visit, after a short company presentation, the production hall, the calibration stand, the training caddy will be visited. More in-depth information on flow measurement capabilities will also be given.
