Description

During the Evening of Chemistry, KNCV honorary member Ben Feringa returns to the stage. He will update you on the latest developments in the field. Kitty Nijmeijer (professor of membrane technology TU Eindhoven) and Marcel Wubbolts (CTO of Corbion and TEDx speaker) will also make their appearance.

Next, Ionica Smeets (former maths girl and now professor of science communication at Leiden University) will make you look at the world around you in a different way.

Finally, young chemistry talent will be put in the spotlight during the evening during the KNCV Awards Gala. The Golden Master Award and the Golden Spatula will be awarded to students for the best wo and hbo theses in the chemical field. The evening will end with festive drinks.
