Netherlands Process Technology Symposium NPS21
On Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 November, the 21st edition of the annual Netherlands Process Technology Symposium will take place in Maastricht. For more than two decades, NPS has been the platform connecting academia, industry, and society to share the latest developments in the field.
The theme of NPS 21 is ‘Chemical Engineering for a Sustainable Tomorrow’. Through lectures, presentations, and discussions, the central question will be: which processes and technologies enable the transition to a green manufacturing industry? This question will be addressed by speakers from industry and academia from six different perspectives: reaction engineering & catalysis, separation processes & transport phenomena, process systems engineering, recycling technologies & renewable carbon conversion, and (bio)chemical process engineering. A very special part of the program is the awarding of the Hoogewerff Jongerenprijs to Thomas Burdyny, researcher at TU Delft.
NPT will, as tradition dictates, award prizes for the best oral and poster presentations. In addition, two NPT board members - Fernanda Neira d’Angelo (TU/e) and Xiaohua Li (RUG) - will give a lecture on their own research.
More details about the program and registration for NPS 21 are available via this link.
