Description
The Post HBO course Procurement of Energy focuses on gas and electricity procurement for companies and governments.
The course includes a solid treatment of European and Dutch legislation and regulations.
Furthermore, lectures on import and export of gas and electricity and interconnectors provide more insight into the market.
It becomes clear how trade takes place, how prices are created and what requirements can be imposed on contracts.
Specific topics such as market supervision, renewable energy, risk management and purchasing combinations are also covered. The course includes a calculation day, which provides insight and skill in procurement and invoice assessment.
Teaching materials include the 'Purchasing Energy' publication.
The course lasts 10 Wednesday evenings, 1 afternoon and 1 full calculation day.
Upon successful completion of the examination, you will receive a recognised Post-HBO diploma.
The start is on 2/11/2016 on Wednesday evenings.
