DC + ALV
Description
The Section invites members to the Annual Meeting, to be held on Wednesday 24 April 2013. The venue this year is the Cursus- en vergadercentrum Domstad, Koningsbergerstraat 9, 3531 AJ Utrecht
Meeting starts at 14:00; reception from 13:30.
The agenda will include the usual items, such as secretarial and financial report for 2012, board composition and appointment, and activities 2013. The agenda with directions will be sent to members who have registered.
Afterwards, from 15.00, Nol van Eck will be honoured as Member of Merit of the Electrical Engineering Division.
After the break, two lectures will take place at 16.00 on the theme of direct current:
- Dick van Bekkum: Reduction of electromagnetic emission from DC power sources;
- Harry Stokman (Direct Current BV): Energy savings through DC distribution in horticulture and utilities.
After these lectures, there will be an opportunity for networking at the drinks reception.
