"Now is the time for the industry to take a serious look at new energy-saving solutions that are (or will be) offered by manufacturers and suppliers within the energy transition currently or in the near future. The electricity price for industry is rising to €63/MWh. By comparison, in the first half of 2016, the price was still €25/MWh. On top of this, there will be regulations onCO2 emissions. Drive systems determine almost 70% of the Dutch industry's electricity consumption. New techniques make it possible to achieve 20-30% profitable energy savings."

Efficient Drive Event is the logical continuation of two previously held IE motors events. The focus of this event is on energy-saving solutions across the entire drive chain and not exclusively on (IE) motors. Manufacturers and suppliers of components and systems can already show you how they, together with that industry, can reduce rising costs - and with which new developments they are helping the industry to make a difference. Now and in the future. All, of course, in line with regulations, another key theme on the day.
