Lightning and surge protection and charging infrastructure

3 June 2021 - Erwin Ooyman (DEHN)

12.00 - 12:45 pm

In the Netherlands, lightning strikes about 300,000 times a year. In a flash of lightning, the voltage can reach 100 million volts. What are the risks for charging infrastructure and for electric cars? And what can we do about lightning and surge protection and what do the regulations (NEN1010) say about this?

Questions can be asked during the presentation (via chat) but also in advance by sending an e-mail to info@elaad.nl.
