Heating with hydrogen? Is that already possible? Yes, it is already possible, but it will be some time before it can be used on a large scale. But we should start thinking about it now!

So is heating with hydrogen a good solution? Exactly, we have to solve questions like that. We are moving away from natural gas, so we need a new way to heat our buildings, among other things. Hydrogen will play a role in that. Which role, that is one of the things we are trying to find out in this project, and we would like to tell you about it.

We take you through the background to understand why hydrogen has a role to play, what the alternative energy carriers are and what specific role hydrogen can play. We will then go into our RVO grant project "Hydrogen Heating Studies", of which we are the lead partner. We share the challenges we face there. As a bouncer, we will give the floor to our student in the project. He will share his role and findings with you and highlight what a student can learn from this.
