Project presentations Fontys students
Description
Please note: start time has been brought forward to 10:00!
Every year, the students of Fontys University of Applied Sciences carry out very interesting projects. This day is a good opportunity for you to hear and see directly what the Fontys students are designing. You will be a guest at the departments of Engineering (Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering) and Applied Physics (Applied Physics).
In the studies of Applied Physics and Engineering at the Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven, students carry out projects for the business world. In these Integrated Product Development (IPD) and ASIA projects (research projects), students from both departments work together in groups of 4 to 6 students on a problem that comes from professional practice. On 3 July 2013, these projects conclude with a final presentation in which the students present their work to fellow students, lecturers, company supervisors and interested parties. Usually, YOU can also view the working results of the project. You are invited to attend these presentations and talk to students, teachers and clients afterwards about the content of the projects and also how these company projects are perceived.
The programme will start with a guest speaker on a topical topic and continue with a number of parallel sessions from which you can choose your own. A break is included in the programme so that you can join in between if necessary. The programme will be announced approximately 2 weeks in advance.
Nominated projects will then be assessed by a jury on behalf of the lecturers and KIVI NIRIA. A KIVI NIRIA annual prize will be awarded to the students of the best project in the festive closing ceremony.
