Schiphol has the ambition, to become the Most Preferred and Sustainable Airport in Europe! That's quick to say, but how do you do it?
- Satisfy passengers: quick transfers and a comfortable stay.
- Be CO2 neutral for its own activities in 2012.
- 30% CO2 reduction in 2020 compared to 1990 at the Schiphol location.
- Generate 20% of its own energy needs sustainably.
- Make optimal use of its environmental capacity, while maintaining a liveable environment.
- Maintain and create employment (Schiphol College).
A number of lectures will be held on this subject, and the inner man will not be forgotten. Schiphol acts as host and offers us this programme.
