Description

As a follow-up to the successful CEO series, KIVI Students Twente is now organising the Route Suc6 in collaboration with Powered by Twente and Saxion.

On Wednesday 4 June, Bernard Fortuyn, CEO Siemens Energy, will be our guest.
Bernard Fortuyn was born on 4 April 1954 in Haarlem and studied Mechanical Engineering/Transport Engineering/Logistics at TU Delft.

Career:
Since 2010 Member of the Board of Management of Siemens Nederland N.V.,
Country Sector Lead Energy
2005 Member of the Executive Board Siemens Nederland N.V.

Prior to that, positions included working at SHV Holdings N.V., management and executive positions at Air Liquide S.A. and Chairman of the Executive Board of N.V. Hoek Loos.

In addition, as a young entrepreneur in the programme, we have Dr Timo Roestenberg, R&D Manager of Antecy. Timo graduated and obtained his PhD from UT's Department of Thermal Engineering.

Since April 2011, Timo has been involved in research initiated and founded by the company Antecy. This research focuses on developing a process for producing liquid hydrocarbon fuels from carbon dioxide from the air. This uses renewable energy sources
