Northeast polder wind farm
Description
KIVI Department of Sustainable Technology and KIVI Students Twente offer their members the opportunity to visit the Noordoostpolder Wind Farm: Europe's frontrunner in state-of-the-art wind turbine technology.
Accompanied by the project director, a visit will be made to the largest wind farm in the Netherlands. This park is under construction near Urk and will consist of 86 wind turbines: enough for 400,000 households!
This excursion is organised in cooperation with Generatin'.
A bus will depart from the UT campus at 07.30. Of course, it is also possible to arrive at the Wind Farm.

7:15 a.m. Arrive at the UT campus (de Spiegel building)
7:30 a.m. Departure of bus from the University of Twente
9:30 a.m. Reception with coffee
Presentation by the project director
10:30 a.m. Tour with various stops along wind farm
12:30 a.m. Lunch
13:00 a.m. Return by bus
15:00 a.m. Back at the campus
