NMi EuroLoop Rotterdam
Description
NMi EuroLoop calibrates 24/5 industrial gas meters for the global market. This is done with the largest and most flexible installation in the world.
Calibrations are performed with natural gas in a pressure range from atmospheric pressure to 60 bar and flow rates of 20 - 30000 m³/h.
The meters being calibrated have an internal diameter ranging from 150 mm to 1 m. The calibrations are for the most part performed under an ISO 17025 accreditation granted by the RvA.
A second installation is currently under construction for the calibration of industrial liquid meters. This installation will be the largest in the world. The first part will be completed soon.
Meters with a diameter of 100 to 600 mm are calibrated with liquid hydrocarbons with 3 different viscosities.
The heart of the plant is formed by two piston provers with a length of 45 m.
Strict safety measures are in force at the plant. During the tour, we ask visitors to wear fire-retardant clothing, safety shoes, a helmet and goggles. These are provided. Own safety clothing is allowed except for the helmet. These must be in connection with recognition of the company.Phones, cameras and other electronic equipment cannot be taken during the tour due to an ATEX environment
