Description

Philips Healthcare covers the broad field of care regarding quality of life. Development and manufacturing of imaging modalities are an important part of Philips Healthcare's activity in Best. In particular, this concerns the (PET-) MRI and CT imaging modalities, based on positron emission tomography, magnetic imaging and computer tomography using X-rays, respectively.

After a general introduction and a presentation on MR or X-ray physics, a visit will be made to the impressive Customer Visit Centre, where, among other things, the aforementioned equipment can be viewed and cross-sections through the human body can be visualised

15:00-16:00 Caspar Garos (Senior Director External Partnerships) and Jan Jacobs (Advanced Development Manager) will provide a general introduction to Philips Healthcare's activities and a technical physics presentation on MR/ X-Ray Physics
