Lecture evening on 25 November next cancelled
The Geotechnical Day 2009 on 5 November last was a great success! with a good turnout. With the theme 'Groundbreaking', many interesting presentations were given and the Geotechnical Day was a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues in the field.
The Geotechnical Department's annual programme had planned a lecture evening at BAM on 25 November. However, shifting the date of the Geotechnical Day from October to November makes this very short notice. It has therefore been decided to cancel the 2nd lecture evening.
The next activity of the Geotechnical Section will be the general members' meeting in combination with a visit to the North-South Line in Amsterdam on 9 February. Further information will follow.
