Description

During the General Members Meeting at the Information Centre North-South Line in Amsterdam, the state of affairs regarding the Geotechnical Section will be explained. Afterwards, the subproject Voorplein Amsterdam CS will be presented in combination with an excursion on the construction site. After the excursion, the progress within the CUR-COB committee Diaphragm Walls will be discussed and the connection will be made between the lessons learned at the North-South Line and the geotechnical design of Spoorzone Delft. The afternoon will end with drinks.

The programme is as follows:
13:00 Reception
13:15 General Meeting of Members
14:00 Introduction work on Amsterdam CS forecourt and visit to the construction site.
For participation in the excursion, your name and date of birth must be known to the organisation. Non-members of KIVI NIRIA should provide this information upon registration.
16:00 Presentations:
* Presentation on the progress of the CUR-COB committee on diaphragm walls, including lessons-learned for the North-South Line
* Presentation on geotechnical aspects of Spoorzone Delft
17:00 Drinks at Smits Koffiehuis, Stationsplein 10 (diagonally across from the Information Centre)

Please bring your own personal safety equipment (helmet and shoes) if possible.
