We would like to invite you to a geotechnical project visit on Thursday 29 August 2019. With Young KIVI Geotechnical (YKG) we will visit the construction site of the project Parking Garage Garenmarkt. This project is currently under construction right in the centre of Leiden.

We are Young KIVI Geotechnical, a working group of the KIVI Geotechnical Department, which specifically targets geotechnical engineers up to 35 years old. This is the first event organised by YKG. Based on our network, we have tried to reach as many young geotechnical engineers as possible to get a nice and good start with YKG. Please spread this message especially among your own network.

The event starts at 14.00 at a café in Leiden within walking distance of the project site. The expected end time is around 19.00 hrs. You will receive the final programme after registration. The number of participants for this visit is limited, participation on a first come, first serve basis. Registration will open soon.

As we will be going onto the construction site, personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. In this case, this includes a helmet, safety shoes and a jacket/shirt. We request that you bring these yourself. If you really can't, please let us know.
