We are pleased to announce that Professor Lidija Zdravkovic, Imperial College London, will deliver a keynote at Geotechnics Day 2025. Professor Zdravkovic is Professor of Computational Geomechanics and has been at Imperial College since 1996, where she led the Geotechnics Division for ten years and is now Editor-in-Chief of Géotechnique.
Her research focuses on soil characterisation and numerical modelling for sustainable and resilient geotechnical infrastructure, with applications from offshore foundations to climate adaptation and energy geostructures.
She will present her keynote at Geotechnics Day: "Geotechnical engineering for a sustainable society". In it, she will show how robust predictive tools and the integration of soil characterisation with advanced computer models contribute to a safe and sustainable society, illustrated with examples from her research.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear a leading international expert speak about the future of geotechnical design and sustainability.
