Mr Nijhuis will talk briefly about the history of Stork BV, and the current state of affairs of its parent company Stork.
The focus will be on the current company Stork Thermeq BV, which came into being after the bankruptcy of Stork Ketels, and through an overview of the market in which the company operates, on its current technical products and services.
A number of opportunities and difficulties that technical companies such as Stork Thermeq are currently facing will also be outlined. Finally, the speaker will discuss the company's new building plans, which involve an investment of €26M

Robert Nijhuis (1966) has held technical and commercial positions at Siemens, Stork and OPRA Turbines (Belgium), among others. He is currently managing director of Stork Thermeq B.V. and vice-president of the Stork Process Equipment division
