Theme: 'Human Factors', including site visit of project new control room and safety centre

This is a visit to the BP Refinery with the theme Human Factors. During this afternoon, both the refinery's new central control room and safety centre will be visited. In addition, a number of presentations will be given on how human factors are addressed in a practical way to ensure both process and personal safety performance. We will discuss how to take human factors into account in the design phase of a new control room and how users are involved during a visit to the project site. How human factors are considered in safety training for staff and contractors will be explained during the safety centre visit.
