Description

Ad van Berlo founded Ad van Berlo Industrial Design (now VanBerlo, with offices in Eindhoven, Delft and Germany) after graduating from the Design Academy in Eindhoven. "The focus is on ideas. Ideas that depict future scenarios. Ideas that inspire, that challenge and in which advancing technology plays an important role. We dare to dream in this, taking the product as 'the message'. Not fairy tales, but stories with a soul. Based on vision and executed with dedication and passion. All with the sole aim of converting ideas into business opportunities."
Since 2002, Ad has been involved in the establishment and day-to-day running of IQ+ "The Innovation Capatalist". In 2009, he was appointed chairman of Design Coöperatie Brainport. Design Coöperatie Brainport develops, leads and supports a wide range of projects in the field of design & technology in the South-East Netherlands. Ad is also a board member at Brainport Industries.
All this comes together in his presentation 'Entrepreneurship & Design'
